DSP cards

So I made this card the other day along with 3 others that match. This one is my favorite of the 4. I used Stampin' Up! Notations #2 DSP, River Rock CS, Wild Wasabi double-stitched ribbon and Hodge Podge Hardware. The Happy Birthday stamp is one I got at HL and it is made my Stampabilities. The other cards I made have the same layout but with small differences. There is one more on River Rock but the DSP is turned horizontally and I used an oval HPH piece. The other two are on Wild Wasabi CS, one with the DSP vertically and one horizontally. Both have HPH but I didn't have More Mustard ribbon so I cut cardstock to "look" like ribbon. The Wild Wasabi mounted cards do not have the Happy Birthday stamp on them. Instead I used the small flower in the Office Accoutrement set and stamped a background image on the lower half of the card in Versamark(R). Thanks for looking!

My First Blog!

I need more paper. Hee Hee. I really have plenty, but you know how it is. When I see pretty or interesting paper, something just comes over me. It could be the design or the colors. Paper is the cornerstone of my favorite hobby. I am a hobby paper-crafter. Being a school teacher I also use a lot of paper at work too. Notebook paper, construction paper, copy paper in white and other colors. My students and I use a lot of paper. Now I realize that the word need is maybe an exaggeration. My husband is very sweet and supportive of my hobby, but he does tease me when I say that I need something. He likes to point it out especially when my 4 year-old son says he needs something. I wonder where he gets that from? Note: This blog was origianally called I Need More Paper.
