First Edition Flower Card

It's so much fun when a new catalog comes out!  I love getting to play with new papers so much!  This is just one of many cards I have already made with the First Edition Specialty paper (121878).  You will also notice that I have a pretty flower element on this card.  It was easy to make with punches.  I used the Fancy Flower punch (118073) to punch out some Marina Mist dsp from the Subtles dsp stack (117152).  Then I used the 5-Petal Flower punch (119880) to punch the First Edition Specialty paper (121878).  I tied some Linen Thread (104199) through a black button from the Neutrals designer buttons collection (119743) and attached it using a Mini Glue Dot (103683).  Here is a list of the other supplies and tools I used:
Very Vanilla cardstock (101650)
Basic Black cardstock (121045)
Marina Mist cardstock (119682)
Big Shot (113439)
Square lattice embossing folder (119976)
Top note die (113463)
Basic black classic ink (101179)
bone folder (102300)
Snail adhesive (104332)
Paper cutter (104152)
Stamping sponge (101610)
Dimensionals (104430)
Sincere Salutations (115068) for the inside message

Friendship card with a wavy front

So I am finally at my sister's house crafting with her this summer.  That is one of my favorite things to do.  We make a lot of cards and other paper-craft projects.  Hopefully I will get the hang of the "blogging" thing so that I can share more of my projects.

This cute card features heat embossing, faux stitching, and a faux bow.

Cardstock in whisper white (100730), early espresso (119686), and cherry cobbler (119685)

Versamark ink pad (102283) and early espresso classic ink pad (119670)

Baby Cards

I was in need of some new baby cards to give to friends and to sell.  Here is what I made yesterday.
I used whisper white card bases for all the cards.  The other layers are bashful blue, pretty in pink and certainly celery.  I stamped the Baby steps stamp in black and stamped off once to match the basic gray cardstock and (retired) dsp.  Its hard to tell from the picture, but I also used my vanilla smootch spritz on the textured cardstock and the stamped image layers.  Under the dsp layer I used my scallop trim border punch to "sweeten" up the cards a bit.  I like how they turned out.
